One of the architecturally most remarkable buildings in Prague was erected in 1876–1884. Designed by architects Josef Zítek and Josef Schulz. World-famous concert hall and home of the Czech Philharmonic, which performed here for the first time in 1896 under the baton of Antonín Dvořák. The neo-Renaissance building was built from 1876 to 1884. The main hall - Dvořák Hall - is the venue for exceptional concerts of classical music.
The central room of the Rudolfinum’s gallery part was designed as the main official entrance to the upper-floor exhibitions. The biggest space in the Rudolfinum is used for larger social gatherings such as gala dinners, receptions, balls, auctions, fashion shows, company Events or presentations etc.
