Spanish hall, prague castle

The magnificent Spanish Hall was built at the request of Rudolf II between 1602 and 1606 to house his art collections. The largest ceremonial space in Prague Castle measures 47 × 24 m and has a richly stuccoed ceiling 13 meters high. It is located above the former stables where the emperor kept horses of a rare Spanish breed, hence the name of the hall.
The hall is not normally open to the public; it is used for representative gatherings, large receptions hosted by the President of the Republic, and ceremonial concerts. It is ideal for important corporate events, gala dinners, or award ceremonies.
The Spanish Hall has specific conditions, so we recommend consulting with an event agency.
