One of Prague’s most important buildings was declared a national cultural monument in 1962. Beloved by Czechs and admired by foreigners, it is fatefully linked to modern Czech history. Today, it houses the National Museum, the largest museum in the Czech Republic. It underwent its most significant reconstruction in recent years, when it was ceremoniously reopened on October 28, 2018, on the 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia. We recommend the National Museum for the most important events, significant receptions, gala dinners, and fashion shows.
